Txalaparta Hutsa is more than a musical concert, it is a journey through the evolution that unites the traditional txalaparta with the most modern, with its myths and its traditions. We are incorporating to the pulse of the instrument new techniques and new hits, getting original creations based on the question-answer and on the importance of improvisation.

BARATZEAN

BARATZEAN is based on the album that came out in 2018. On it you can enjoy rhythmic themes with the wooden txalaparta, melodic themes with the stone txalaparta and all of them accompanied by the percussion of drums.

From the curiosity to explore new sonorities, styles and musical trayectories, this new and promising proyect emerges. The result, a new pleasant and surprising evening with a quality jazz repertorie, interpreted in a renewed way, and with mythological reminiscences.

URBASA

The "Sierra de Urbasa", located in the northwest of Navarra, represents a physical and climatic frontier and, for a long time, has been a point of union between people, climates and nature. The Txalaparta sounds and the fog covers a mountain that breathes nature, that breathes calm. But this peace will be disturbed by a visitor who will break this environment through force and technology.

It is a street animation in which we represent the traditional process of making cider. During the show we will show the relationship between work and music, we will crush the apple in the traditional way, and to finish, we will play the kirikoketa and taste the juice.

SCHOOL CONCERT

Through the school concert we bring the txalaparta closer to the students in the most playful way. From the evolution that he has had in his way of playing to the basic rules of the instrument: Respect and listen to the person with whom you are sharing a rhythm, an instrument.
